Flowers and birds in freehand style

Kaili Fu - Workshop: West Meets East (Chinese brush painting)

Learn the basic skills and techniques of painting flowers and birds, how to hold the brush, how to load ink and colour with different tones in one brush, the positions and directions of flowers, blossom and buds, a few strokes for painting a bird, etc.

Drawing and Etching in the Cotswolds, Cornwall and Shetland Islands.

Thornbury Art Club is running a coach to the National Gallery, adjacent to Trafalgar Square, which houses an enormous collection of masterpieces, ... real national treasures. Do come with us and ‘explore’! Find out just what this vast and wonderful institution holds, and make your own discoveries.

The coach leaves Thornbury at 8.00am from outside Aldi, and departs London at 6.00pm. The cost of the coach is £19, entrance to the National Gallery is free. Temporary Art Club membership for the day is £4. ........... a grand total of £23
