Thornbury based Sophie has always painted and drawn people. She loves the mystery and secrets of a face and paints interesting faces she comes across in daily life. She has shown her work within prestigious exhibitions such as the annual shows of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters and the Pastel Society and the BP Portrait Award. She won the BP Travel Award in 2013 which gave her the opportunity to research 17th century portraiture and the depiction of lace and fabrics in it. In his cityscapes, Adrian hopes to capture the essence of places, the extraordinary and ordinary aspects of great cities without labouring on the mundane, so he both moves and eliminates buildings to suit the final condensed composition, very much in the ‘Capriccio’ style. He seeks to achieve the sense of standing on an ordinary rooftop overlooking backyards and every day life, being able to observe a place’s highlights whilst being removed from them.
Adrian was the winner of the Bristol Prize in 2013

Hannah is an illustrator and printmaker whose floral illustrations are influenced by her childhood, growing up on an organic herb farm and helping her parents at all the major RHS flower shows, including the Chelsea Flower show and Hampton Court Flower show. Her upbringing around plants and her passion for drawing became naturally entwined. Hannah has developed her style through years of practising the technique of screenprinting. When Hannah is not working on commissions for her various clients, she is producing colourful and vibrant collections of floral screenprints that she exhibits throughout the country and internationally.
